Flex-Mix™ Liquiverter
Flex-Mix Liquiverter continuous or batch mixer is used for mixing, dispersing, recombining and reconstituting soluble products, for reconstitution of dairy products, production of finely dispersed products, emulsions, preparation of starch and hydrocolloid solutions. Its main task is processing of products of medium density. Flex-Mix Liquiverter provides fast mixing of powders and dense ingredients with liquids.

Flex-Mix™ Liquiverter OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The liquiverter uses the principle of vortex mixing. Its bottom-mounted impeller creates an axial flow inside the square mixing tank, which ensures that liquids are not forced to rotate. Liquid is crushed around the powdery product and pumped towards the mixing head located at the base. Powder or particles are added from the top of the tank, which are transferred to the vortex center by the liquid located in the tank. Free vortex sucks the liquid down, squeezing it around the powder and pushing it towards the mixer head at the base. Corners of the tank act as baffles to improve energy transfer from the mixer, creating a dynamic process response and an axial flow pattern. This provides fluid uniformity and better vortex agitation control and in most cases eliminates the need for additional baffles, improving device cleanability and increasing food safety.
Flex-Mix Liquiverter is a hand device that can be integrated into an automated production line. It can be used for batch mixing, in-line mixing in one or more hydration tanks, or for continuous mixing. High shear forces and turbulence throughout the mixing tank ensure efficient and homogeneous mixing for superior end product results.
