There are various materials that can be used for lining, the following electrode materials are also available: tantalum, Hastelloy C, titanium. The most common communication protocols are Modbus, Hart, and also with an Android smartphone app via Bluetooth. RPmag has a built-in data logger for recording measurements over time. It consists of a USB stick that fits behind the VL701 removable O-LED display. The recorded data is stored in a TXT file that is compatible with Excel or other equivalent software packages.|
|The Magnetic Flowmeter consists of two components: a Smag62 microprocessor-based magnetic measuring transducer and a flow tube. The flow tube is installed either vertically or horizontally in the process piping. Coils located on opposite sides of the flow tube create a magnetic field, and an electrically conductive fluid flows through the magnetic field to create a voltage that is sensed by two electrodes. The measuring transducer monitors formation of the magnetic field and measures the voltage detected by the electrodes. Based on the measured voltage, the transmitter determines the flow rate and provides analog and frequency output signals proportional to the flow rate.|

RBmag flowmeters are ideal for remote monitoring where no external power supply is available.
The device has two types of builds: compact version and remote version. Compact version consists of a sensor and a converter. Remote version consists of a sensor, a connection housing, connecting cables and a wall converter.
RBmag is able to process signals from liquids with flow rates up to 10 m/s in both directions (duo-directional meter).
