R Series Lobe Pumps
R series pumps are ideal for those instances when a metal rotor pump does not work efficiently. When you need to clean the pump as product is not washed out using the normal CIP process (e.g. after processing meat), the R-Series overcomes this problem with its simple, robust design. The R pump design uses a floating rotor without rotor nuts. The rotors are interchangeable and can only be installed in one position due to the square shape of the shaft.
Simple design allows all hygienic parts to be replaced in minutes without removing the pump from the line. The pumps are now equipped with a front cover gasket with an O-ring for easy maintenance.
A range of metal or plastic rotors are available in many variations for special applications, ideal for abrasive or corrosive products. R Series Pumps can be equipped with large rectangular inlets for thick slurries.
In addition, if entrained air is a problem, special degassing front covers can be used to allow entrained air to be removed prior to preparation or processing. The pumps can be supplied with different drives, complete with hopper or auger.
